Women's Ministry at Highland

The desire of Women’s Ministry is to support and encourage women through fellowship, doctrinally sound Bible teaching, prayer, mentorship, discipleship, and service to the church and community.  Our main goal is to glorify God by helping women take the next step in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

bible studies

It is our belief that as we study God's Word in community with other women, we will be built up and enabled to know God in a greater way, serve others better, encourage one another, and learn how to live worthy of the calling that the Bible reveals to us.  Take the next step and join us.

Classes for women meet at a variety of times, places, and campuses. Please check the Highland Happenings publication on the Publications and Forms page or Highland's calendar for the latest studies. If a class requires registration it will appear on the Registration page of the website.   New participants are welcome anytime to any of our studies.

Bible study resources are available for personal or group studies.  Visit the Bible Studies Resource Document at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Gtf3zQu-IzIChrfNFtzjN0bob3s20n9_73YAVzqTzSg/edit?usp=sharing.  If you are looking to check-out a study please contact Sue MacDonald-Director of Women’s Ministries at and she will help you check it out and get it ready for you to pick up in the office at the Wausau campus

Momco

MomCo

At the MomCo, we connect moms all over the world to a community of women in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. We work to provide curriculum and opportunities for moms from pregnancy through the rest of their lives. That's whether our moms join a MomCo meet-up, or serve as a mentor. The MomCo encourages and equips moms to realize their potential as mothers, women, and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church. With roughly 4,000 groups around the U.S. and in 69 different countries, we rally women to be more honest, to feel more equipped, and to find their identity by journeying alongside one another. MomCo exists for all moms who share a similar desire to be the very best mom they can be!

MomCo meets at Highland on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month during the school year from 9:15-11:15 a.m.   Please check the calendar page for future dates. Childcare (for ages 0-4) is limited, so please call ahead if you are interested in attending and need childcare.  Registration and scholarship forms are available on our Publications and Form page.  If you have general MomCo or childcare questions, please contact Laura Thunder at 715-551-6564 or Becca Borchardt at 608-633-3042 or
